The first private gadget for personal recordings, a revolution in the music industry/studios and the most important device for radio stations. Also the beginning of the quantified survey in all over the world. The german secret service BND records every day 220 million phone calls, more than 8 billion calls a year. More information than all existing magnetized recordings between 1950 till today.
